The Wollongong local government area starts in the Royal National Park, extends through Wollongong’s Northern Illawarra suburbs to the Wollongong entertainment/sports precinct adjoining Wollongong City Beach then to Wollongong City’s industrial heartland surrounding Port Kembla Harbour and on to Wollongong City’s southern boundary at Lake Illawarra.
